20 new women attend w.i.n.g. s meeting
Women in Networking Groups Soar (W. i.n.g.s.) held a meeting earlier this month and everyone is still filled with the great energy that comes from meeting with that fantastic group of women.
At the November meeting, we revisited our original format of three minutes to tell who you are and what you do. Each person gave and received a gift. We had over 50 women in attendance and 90% of them took part. The gifts were lovely and the laughs were even better.
We had over 20 new women join us for the first time, bringing a range of skills and expertise. We even had a certified “hoop instructor,” who gave a great demonstration to interested parties during the break. The vendor tables were full and most reported that they made excellent contacts.
The next W.i.n.g.s. meeting will be Tuesday, Dec. 13, 6:30-9 p.m. at Factory 163. The topic will be Creating Balance in Your Life.
